All casings follow standard industry dimensions: 70 mm and 85 mm outer diameters, with four longitudinal grooves spaced at 90 degrees. ABS is usually the go-to for clay landslides because it’s stiff enough to deform with the ground without adding much weight, and it resists corrosion from typical soil moisture. If the landslide is very slow-moving and you need high sensitivity, aluminum may be better due to its lower flexibility, but it costs more. PVC is less common in landslides unless chemical contamination is an issue.
